What does “flush” mean in construction?
In construction situations, flushing is the process of cleaning and removing contaminants from mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. We use specialized equipment and chemicals to dislodge and remove debris, scale, rust, and other impurities that accumulate throughout construction. Mechanical flushing helps to restore system efficiency, improve performance, and prolong the lifespan of equipment by ensuring smooth operation and minimizing the risk of corrosion and blockages.
Should chilled and heating water systems be flushed?
Yes! Mechanical flushing of hydronic systems leads to increased energy efficiency, reliability, durability, cleanliness, and performance of your system, as well as decreased maintenance and ownership costs. During construction and throughout the system's life, contaminants and debris build-up. Flushing helps remove these impurities, ensuring optimal operation and prolonging the lifespan of the system.
What do I need to provide in order to receive a proposal from PurgeRite?
Have a question or want more information? We’re always open to conversations about your mechanical flushing, geothermal purging, remediation, or industrial services projects. Please contact us for more information. If you’ve already reached out and are ready for a proposal, you must provide us with a mechanical plan and specifications for flushing. This information will give us the background we need to write up an accurate proposal. The more detailed and precise the information you provide, the better we can tailor your proposal to your unique system.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes. At PurgeRite, we take pride in providing dedicated equipment for mechanical flushing and purging projects. That way, we can guarantee that your flush and purge are of the highest quality. Our commitment to quality extends into every aspect of our work, from our flushing plans to our equipment. We ensure our top-of-the-line equipment meets the highest performance, reliability, and efficiency standards.
Do you rent your equipment?
No. As a flushing services contractor, PurgeRite mobilizes our own equipment for use in flushing and purging projects as we work with clients. We do not rent our equipment. This approach allows us to deliver equipment that we know is clean and has been maintained properly to ensure a timely flush. Our focus is on providing expert services, utilizing our best-in-class equipment, and sharing our expertise to ensure optimal results for every project.
Can you design a flush plan for us without executing the work?
No. At PurgeRite, we take a comprehensive approach to our services, including the development of flush plans. We exclusively provide flush plans to clients who are engaging with us on a mechanical flushing, geothermal purging, remediation, or industrial services project. Our flush plans are tailored to the unique needs of each project and are an integral part of our services. We only provide flush plans when executing the work, so we can ensure a high-quality outcome. If you need a consultation, please contact us, and we can collaborate on your specific design and strategy needs.
What do your services include?
At PurgeRite, we pride ourselves on being a comprehensive provider of mechanical flushing, geothermal purging, remediation, and industrial services. When you work with us, you’ll receive support from the beginning of your project to the end. This support includes, but is not limited to, a comprehensive engineered flush plan, pre-job meetings and resource coordination, necessary equipment and labor, site walks to ensure you understand your flush plan, the flush or purge itself, and an end-of-job flush report to help you know what happened on your job site. How long does it take to engineer a flush plan?
At PurgeRite, we have a staff of qualified engineers to develop your flush plan. The plan includes analyzing your system to know where to include flush connections, bypasses, blowdowns, and other pertinent information necessary to clean the system. Once a contract has been executed and we have received all the construction documents, we work on developing your custom flush plan. This typically takes four to six weeks. Getting us involved as early as possible is key, because we can often help with the design process.
Where does PurgeRite service?
We service the contiguous 48 states of the United States.
