Our History

How the PurgeRite Difference Came to Be

PurgeRite was founded in 2008 to solve the issue of inadequate flushing in the geothermal HVAC market. These systems are installed using HDPE piping in a closed-loop configuration. Once in place, all the dirt, debris, and air must be removed for the heat exchange to perform as designed.

In 2015, it became apparent that most traditional water-based chilled and heating water closed-loop systems also were not flushed and purged very well after the construction phase. This caused cost overruns for the mechanical companies, maintenance issues for the end users, and a general lack of HVAC system performance overall. Our team decided to focus our attention on providing a best-in-class and comprehensive flushing service to mechanical contractors, end users, general contractors, engineers, and chemical treatment providers.

Since then, we have been solving many issues across multiple industries and tackling some of the most challenging mechanical flushing and purging projects in the US. We have worked with seven of the top 25 largest companies in the world. PurgeRite has experienced exponential growth and has been positioned as the leader in the flushing and purging industry. To continue to meet the industry demand, PurgeRite performed a majority recapitalization with Milton Street Capital in 2023.

In this short period of time, PurgeRite has become a trusted flushing and purging provider for organizations of all sizes nationwide. With unmatched industry expertise, working with a sense of urgency, and a reputation for high-quality results, our team acts as an extension of your own to support your business needs.
