Successful Flush on Chill & Hot Water Piping for New Terminal C @ Bush International

The $244 million project will create a 265,000-square-foot facility, more than 100,000 square feet larger than the existing Terminal C North, with 11 passenger boarding gates. When construction on the new concourse is completed, the Houston Airport System will demolish the existing Terminal C North facility at Bush Intercontinental to enable the reconstruction of the Mickey Leland International Terminal D.

PurgeRite completes final flush to removing air and debris from a geothermal installation in the Woodlands, Texas. The flush included the geo closed loop system and was performed by isolating and flushing the exterior first, then the interior to the Ground Source Heat Pumps. Great LEED project with a professional team!

The Houston Advanced Research Center was founded by George P. Mitchell, the mastermind behind the development of The Woodlands, in 1982. Since rebranding itself as a sustainability-focused research center in 2001, HARC has worked on the science and energy of clean energy, air and water, renewable resources and other “green” research. The Houston Technology Center has opened an office at HARC’s existing facilities and is expected to move into the new campus when it’s complete in 2017.
